Luan Soares - Manager
Meet Luan Soares, a dedicated personal trainer at FUSE Smithfield with a passion for helping clients achieve their fitness goals. Luan holds a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education/Sport Science, which took five years of college and graduated from Paulista University in Brazil in 2018.
He specialises in weight loss and mental health and enjoys helping clients begin or improve their relationship with the gym routine and develop a fitness lifestyle they can maintain. Luan's coaching experience includes helping clients recover from pregnancy and glandular/hormonal problems to achieve their weight loss goals. He also specialises in middle-aged clients who want to complete their first marathon. Luan's fitness experience began in high school when a classmate's comment about his weight motivated him to start lifting and working on endurance.
As a personal trainer, he enjoys the challenge of keeping himself motivated after a long, busy day and finding ways to prioritise his training routine. Luan's coaching style is dynamic, strategic, and motivating, and he believes that exercise allows people to discover more about themselves and improve other areas of their lives.
Sara Aziz
Sara is passionate about helping clients achieve their fitness goals and rediscover their confidence.
With a background in lacrosse and starting her own fitness journey at home with no equipment, Sara understands the challenges of getting started and knows how to create effective workouts for any environment.
She specialises in:
• Weight Loss: Helping clients achieve incredible results, including one client losing nearly 15kg in just 9 weeks.
• Post-Injury Fitness: Supporting clients returning to the gym after an injury.
• Women’s Group Training: Providing a supportive and empowering environment for women to train and grow stronger together.
Sara’s coaching style is supportive and goal-driven, focusing on helping clients overcome challenges both inside and outside the gym. Her ultimate goal? To make you feel happier, healthier, and more confident in yourself.
Raquel Nascimento
Meet Raquel, a Level 3 Practitioner in Personal Training, certified since December 2024 through Learn GymCert Ireland/UK.
With a passion for helping others, Raquel focuses on empowering women to achieve weight loss, hypertrophy, and improved well-being.
Her background in boxing and mixed martial arts, paired with a love for sports like capoeira and outdoor activities, fuels her energetic and creative coaching style.
Specialising in fat loss and endurance training, Raquel is dedicated to inspiring confidence and promoting fitness among clients, particularly those over 30 interested in boxing and overall health improvement.
Rhys Donohoe
Meet Rhys, a dedicated personal trainer with a Level 6 qualification in personal training and sports massage.
With two years of coaching experience, Rhys has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those recovering from injuries such as broken bones and brain injuries.
His fitness journey began at 13, with a passion for rugby and MMA training. Rhys became a personal trainer to help clients overcome self-limiting beliefs and achieve their goals.
Specialising in 8-week transformations, muscle gain, and fat loss, he targets 16 to 26-year-olds with sports backgrounds or those seeking rapid weight loss.
His coaching style is intense, effective, and efficient.
Izabela Araujo
Meet Izabela, a personal trainer with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Salgado de Oliveira Filho.
Izabela specialises in personalised training for fat loss, muscle gain, and CrossFit.

Laura brings an elite athletic background to FUSE, having competed as a semi-professional athlete for 10 years, representing Ireland in the 4x100m national squad and holding over 20 All-Ireland titles.
With over five years of experience as an athletics coach and success in 1:1 personal training—helping clients achieve goals like "dropping a dress size" through custom nutrition and strength plans—Laura is deeply committed to the transformative power of movement. She views exercise as a privilege that enhances confidence, integrity, and mental well-being.
Specialising in body recomposition, fat loss, and muscle gain, Laura works with everyone from young adults to women in their 40s–60s looking to improve mobility and cardiovascular health. Her coaching style is rooted in making fitness a realistic and enjoyable part of everyday life.
